Ford Fiesta RS Hot Hatch ?

Most gear heads by now have heard of the new sub-compact Ford Fiesta.  What would make you sad is we only seem to be getting the 4-door and not the more sporty 3-door available in Europe.


This Fiesta was spotted in Michigan and is the mysterious 3-door.  Now this isn't just a regular Fiesta, this one is kitted up with some go fast bits.  Were talking a front mounted intercooler, chin spoiler, black body accents, dual exhaust and probably non functional diffuser, side skirts, large spokey wheels and the front fascia is off the European Fiesta, hence the fog lights instead of the LED's.Now there are some theories as to why this car is in North America.  It could be a test bed car a hot hatch 4-door model.  Autoblog.com seems to think it might be a show car for the SEMA show.  I personally like to believe its going to be a Fiesta RS with obviously a 1.6L turbo.  The term 'ecoBoost' to me is quite lame, so I choose not to use it, the previous term for Ford's go fast engines was 'Twin-Force', much cooler !


For now only Ford knows why his car is here.  But hopefully its going to be a hot hatch 3-door Fiesta RS.  Give me a LSD option and 180+hp and I'll be happy.  I'll take mine in white please.
