Subaru BRZ - Concept debut at LA Auto Show Nov 16

Count 'em down, 16 days till we get to see the Subaru BRZ Concept in the flesh. It looks to be sporting a very similar body shape and style with the FT-86 Toyota Concept.

If you didn't already know it will sport RWD and feature the signature Subaru flat-four engine. With a large set of 19-20" wheels and twin duel exhausts it certainly looks the part of the boy racer.

Leviton and Ford Build snazzy new 240V home EV charger

Ford has teamed up with Leviton to create a charger for the 
forthcoming Ford Focus EV that will be arriving soon. With charging times of just 3 hours it is quite fast compared to the 7-8 it takes to charge the Nissan Leaf at home.


The Ford Electric Vehicle Home Charging Station provides up to 32 amps at 240 volts AC (7.7 kW output) – fully charging a Ford Focus Electric’s battery in a little over three hours, more than four times faster than the standard portable charger. The device’s energy-efficient design – the enclosure is made from nearly 60 percent recycled materials – features a low-energy standby power design, contributing to a 50 to 80 percent reduced carbon footprint.
