Mitsubishi iMiEV U.K. = £33,699

Pricing for the Mitsubishi iMiEV has come in for the U.K.  Needless to say it isn't going to come cheap.  At a gulp envoking £38,699 including VAT it makes me wonder why my cell phone doesn't cost $2,000 dollars.  The only thing that makes this mildy more palatable is a £5,000 Federal U.K. Government Grant, making it £33,699.

It'll be questionable whether we will get any major Federal subsidies or parking perks in Canada.  Some provinces have said they will provide incentives.  Let's hope maintenance makes a big difference in cost savings since the simplicity of an EV is superior to a Internal Combustion Engine.
