Honda CR-Z Exceeds Sales by 10:1

Sales of Honda's Sport Hybrid, the CR-Z, have spiked in Japan.  Originally Honda had thought they may only sell 1,000 a month.  That will have to be re-thought, as the CR-Z is selling at a pace 10x that.

At this rate they are going to out pace their yearly estimate of 12,000 CR-Z sales for the JDM market in less than 2 months.  Previously Honda had thought the CR-Z's global sales would reach around 40-50k units.  Those numbers may need to be adjusted if the car is as popular worldwide as it is in Japan. 

Bring on the CR-Z Type R !
