Ford Mustang GT gets 17/26 MPG !

Hot on the heels of the announcement of the V6 Mustang's great MPG ratings, Ford cries from the hill tops again with superb numbers for the Mustang GT.

Those ratings are 17/26 MPG.  Now,  you might say 17 MPG in the city isn't that great, its not, but if you compare it to a Ferrari 360 Modena which is a 3.6L V-8, puts out 400 HP and it gets 17 MPG Highway, you start to see the technology in a different light.  Then when  you look at 26 on the highway you say hey...that also is better mileage than an Audi R8 and it has direct injection.

Ford has worked wonders here to make a 412 hp car achieve those numbers, more superstitious people might think witch craft.  I think their engineers deserve a free cup of coffee and a hug from Taylor Swift for this fine work.
